BAP – Biodiversity Action Plans A course to learn what a BAP is and how to set up one. At the end of this course, you should be able to:
  • Value the relevance of formulating a BAP
  • Identify the components of a BAP and the process related to formulating and implementing one
  • Apply the content of this course to your own context and organisational goals
UEBT members, their suppliers and producers in the field interested in BAPs.

People assigned with responsibilities in setting up and implementing a BAP.
ABS - Due diligence on Access and Benefit Sharing A course to help you understand where ABS is relevant in your activities and what measures you may need to take to comply with laws and regulations, and to follow best practices. The objectives of the course are to:
  • Review the aim, principles and key concepts of ABS
  • Look at different approaches to ABS rules and their practical implications
  • Understand challenges and opportunities for your company in integrating ABS into its policies and procedures
  • Set up a system to assess the applicability of ABS requirements and, if necessary, take measures for compliance
UEBT members working with natural raw materials in the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical sectors.

People interested in building the knowledge and skills to ensure their sourcing, research and product development activities comply with ABS rules and best practices.
