Sector collaboration

UEBT’s sector collaboration initiatives operate on a voluntary and pre-competitive basis and promote sharing of experiences and joint action for sourcing with respect.

Their focus is bringing together different stakeholders to identify responsible sourcing risks and their root causes and find effective solutions that complement and enhance company-level commitments and actions.

UEBT sector collaboration initiatives currently include:

IFRA-UEBT Responsible Sourcing Initiative (RSI)

A joint initiative with the International Fragrance Association (IFRA), this is a platform for information exchange on social and environmental risks in key natural raw materials used in fragrance and on potential pre-competitive and collaborative action to improve sourcing practices.
